CIVENGS is a club for civil engineering students in which they are guided with their core subjects and it organizes various surveys. The club wishes to be “at the heart of society, delivering sustainable development through knowledge, skills and professional expertise”. Some of the various events organized by the club include Engineering Drawing workshop, AutoCAD workshop, General Technical Quiz (GTQ) among others. The club also promotes new and innovative ideas presented to management by the students which often lead to amazing new discoveries or inventions in the world of Civil Engineering. A structure made to solve the purpose of a makeshift evacuation center was also lauded by everyone.
