I am Dr. Vibha Ayri. Currently, I am working as a Senior Research Fellow, at the School of Engineering and Technology, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. I have done my PhD. in Experimental Atomic Physics (Photon–atom interaction/ Synchrotron radiations and EDXRF), at the Department of Physics, Punjabi University Patiala, India. The title of my Ph.D. thesis is “Study of synchrotron radiation-induced inner-shell photoionization processes at energies across the Li absorption-edges of some heavy elements”. My area of research pertains to the study of photon-atom interaction, synchrotron radiations, and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technique. Up to now, I have published my Ph.D. work in 7 peer-reviewed international journal articles. Also, I have presented her work at national and international conferences and published 10 papers in AIP Conference proceedings. In addition to that I have attended technical workshops and schools, including hands-on practice. I am a mature, enthusiastic, and determined researcher and an academician with a piece of deep knowledge and training in my field of expertise. I can work well both individually as well as part of a team. I visited to International Laboratory during my PhD. to perform the experiment at X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) (10.1L) beamline at ELETTRA Sincrotrone Trieste, ITALY. Duration of my visit was nearly 8 days from Dec 8-16, 2019. During my M.Sc., I did a Project titled, “Structural characterization of samples (TeO2, GeO2, Se) using SEM technique” in the laboratory of Material Science Lab, Punjab University Chandigarh.
