Dr. Sandhya Sharma is an Associate Professor at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. She has more than 14 years of Teaching and Research Experience. She completed her PhD from Chitkara University, Punjab in October,2021. Currently she is looking after the Office of Patent Facilitation, Licensing and Consultancy at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Sharma is the Member Secretary of Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and also the Co-coordinator for the implementation of NEP,2020 at the University Level. She is actively involved in conducting various events related to IPR at the campus.  Dr. Sharma has filed more than 12 Patents and also has 17 Research papers in her credit. She has been the session chair and also the reviewer of the Conferences. She was awarded with the Best Research Paper presentation award in the International Virtual Conference on Intelligent Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation Systems (IRMAS 2021)”, VIT Chennai and also the Best Patent Idea Presentation award in the National Conference on Intellectual Property Rights in Science & Technology, held at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh in April, 2022. Her area of Interest includes Image processing using Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
