Dr. Komal Thapa working as an Assistant Professor at School of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, Solan since August, 2018 with total experience of 5 years in academics and research. She is motivated, self-determined and organized pharmaceutical research professional. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Rayat Institute of Pharmacy, Ropar, Punjab in 2016 and her Master in Pharmacology from Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab in 2018 and she completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab in 2023. She has 30 publications in various National/International journals of repute with 843 citations and an h-index of 9. She has also presented 1 review and 1 research paper at an international conferences. She has filled 9 patents, out of which 3 patents have been granted. She has published 6 book chapters.
