The transformation of a student to a professional does not happen overnight. It takes its due course and a student needs to know the ethics of professionalism for being an able professional. Without the required knowledge, a student will find himself lost and confused in the professional world. To eradicate all doubts from the minds of our Mechanical Engineering students, School of Applied Sciences conducted an expert talk on ‘Campus to Industry’ for ME 2013 batch under the banner of Indian Society of Technical Education, ISTE.

The talk was organized by Ms. Taruna Manchanda, Faculty advisor of ISTE under the guidance of Dr. Jyotsna Kaushal, Deputy dean, School of Applied Sciences.

The expert for the talk was Dr. Vijay Shrivastava, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. He told the students that how can they prepare themselves for the industry. What are the requirements of an industry and different skills, which students should have during their selection and after that. The students found the session to be informative and useful.
