CSI Student Chapter of CUHP organises a workshop on ‘Python Machine learning, & Amazone – Console platform’

Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh & Computer Society of India student chapter recently had organized an insightful 1-day workshop on “Python: Machine Learning” as well as “Amazon: Console Platform” on 22nd March 2018.

The prime objectives of the event were equipping the students with the much-needed insights to relate to Python programming language as well as getting the students acquainted with premium growth aspects like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Image recognition and more.

The session was delivered by the expert guest lecturer Mr. Pankaj Sharma who is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and a leading technical Dot Trainer cum Developer, HCL. The event observed a massive turnaround of students as participation from all the years of the university was observed.

Students were requested to make Amazon Web Services account. The account act as a dashboard to perform the exclusive tasks like image recognition, virtual machine setup and much more. Hence, it would be wise to mention that the session enlightened the students to explore the world of machine learning in deep.

In the second half, students got to know about, how to create their personalized chatbots. The platform used for the creation of chatbots was Amazon Lex. Students developed their personalized voice-enabled chatbots from scratch for the website/app of their domain.

Fully-functional chat boats were developed in the end which led to a great deal of technical enthusiasm amidst the students. Therefore, students leveraged and strive to develop their interest in object-oriented python programming domain. Hence, Artificial Intelligence is breaking the stereotypes and we need to encapsulate its potential for the greater good.
