Chitkara University Successfully Hosts HackIndia 2024 India’s Largest Web3 Hackathon

Chitkara University, through its ACM Student Chapter, in collaboration with industry partners such as CSharpCorner, Alchemy, Ample, Lotus, and RAIR, organised HackIndia 2024, India’s largest Web3 hackathon. This two-day event drew an impressive turnout of over 80 teams and more than 300 participants from across the country, all eager to demonstrate their innovative prowess in Web3 technology.

HackIndia 2024 provided a dynamic and immersive environment for students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts alike to engage with cutting-edge Web3 solutions. The event aimed to foster collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence, with participants developing projects across a variety of sectors, including decentralised finance (DeFi), blockchain, and smart contracts. Over the course of two days, teams worked intensively to create unique solutions that addressed real-world challenges, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Web3 technologies.

The hackathon saw mentorship from industry experts, including Sahil Aujla, Developer Advocate at Alchemy, Canada, and Stephen Simon, Regional Community Director (India and Asia Pacific) at CSharpCorner. These experts brought a wealth of knowledge and insight, guiding participants through the complexities of Web3 and offering advice on project development, industry standards, and best practices.
