Chitkara University Leaders Advocate for Industry-Academia Synergy at IEEE Summit

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor of Chitkara University, and Dr. Rajnish Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, showcased their commitment to educational excellence by actively participating in the IEEE Higher Education Summit held in New Delhi.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara contributed significantly as a panelist in a discussion titled “Industry, Academia, and Professional Societies – Pertaining to Delivering Excellence.” She eloquently discussed the invaluable benefits of industry-academia collaboration in producing industry-ready graduates. Dr. Chitkara highlighted Chitkara University’s growing partnerships with leading industries, emphasising the importance of co-creating and co-delivering contemporary course content by industry professionals. Kramer, IEEE President-Elect; Deepak Mathur, 2024 VP, Member, and Geographic Activities, IEEE; Dr. Lance Fung, Director, Region 10, IEEE; and Francis Staples from IEEE. Additionally, they had the opportunity to engage with eminent academic leaders from India, such as Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE; Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, President, AIU; and Prof. V.
