Chitkara Student gets selected to be a pilot in the Indian Navy

karan_picService to the nation is one of the prime ways of giving back to humankind and our student Karan Bhai has proved it his way. Karan, who is a fourth-year Civil Engineering student from Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, has been selected to join the Indian Navy as a pilot after clearing his UES exams.

It indeed is a moment of pride not only for Karan but for the entire staff and faculty at Chitkara University. Karan will soon proceed for training to one of the academies meant for Indian Navy and will get his flying as well as other training before he passes out as an officer of the Indian Navy. Karan in his words stated that he always wanted to be a part of the forces and his dream has ultimately come true. He paid his gratitude to his faculty and mentors and fellow students for being with him throughout and motivating him to achieve his aim of becoming a pilot with the Indian Navy.

We wish Karan a bright future ahead and we want to tell him that we are proud of him.
