4th ICEEE 2023 Concludes Successfully at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh
The 4th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE 2023) took place over two days, August 19th and 20th, 2023, at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh.
The conference, held in virtual mode, gathered eminent researchers, academicians, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and trends in the field of electrical and electronics engineering.
The conference commenced with an inaugural session that featured an address by Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, who welcomed the delegates and highlighted the importance of collaboration in knowledge sharing, joint publications, research funding, and product commercialization among the attending researchers. She appreciated the efforts of the Chitkara HP team in organising the conference and announced that the next edition of the conference would be hosted physically on campus.
Dr. Rajnish Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh welcomed and thanked the guest speakers for their valuable contributions. The conference witnessed enlightening sessions from esteemed speakers, including Prof. Bhim Singh from IIT Delhi, Prof. Milan Simic from RMIT University, Australia, Prof. Valentina Balas from Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania, Prof. Saad Mekhilef from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, Prof. PierluigiSiano from the University of Salerno, Italy, Prof. B K Panigrahi from IIT Delhi, Prof. WiesławPawłowski from the University of Gdańsk, Poland, Dr. Roger Alves de Oliveira, a Technical Power Systems Consultant from Hitachi Energy, Spain, and Prof. Shimi Sudha Letha from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
Over the course of the two-day conference, a total of 92 papers were presented, with an acceptance rate of 15%, showcasing the diverse research contributions from authors across the globe. The first day of the conference featured four keynote sessions led by experts from both industry and academia. These sessions provided insights into cutting-edge developments in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. On the second day, 48 additional papers were presented, contributing to the rich knowledge exchange and academic discourse of the event.
The conference concluded with a grand closing ceremony, graced by distinguished guests Prof. Meenu Khurana, Pro Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University HP; Prof. Ankush Ghosh, CTO of ADSRS Australia; and Prof. Sanjoy Das, Professor and Head at IGNTU, India. The ceremony included a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Khurana, Dr. Ghosh, and Dr. Das, expressing gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions.
The 4th ICEEE 2023 marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration and knowledge dissemination within the global research community. Chitkara University looks forward to continuing this tradition of excellence in the next edition of the conference.
