Dr. Yadav is a formulation development scientist and academician with experience in both industry and academics. He is Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Department of Pharmaceutics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar, M. Pharm from the Department of Pharmaceutics, Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi and B. Pharm. from University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. After completing his formal studies, he earned post-doctoral research experience from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and from School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham, UK. Also, he got industrial experience of working in multi-national pharmaceutical companies like Sentiss Pharma, Wockhardt and Cadila Pharmaceuticals. He has published several research papers in reputed journals in pharmaceutics and published book chapters in books published by international publishers like Wiley and Springer. His background and current area of research involves: Formulation and characterization/analysis of novel drug delivery systems especially solid lipid nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles (Microparticles, Nanoparticles for Parenterals/ Ophthalmic/Lyophilized Products). Good expertise in designing and carrying out preformulation studies such as solubility and stability studies, solid-state characterization of drugs using techniques like Powder-XRD, DSC, TGA, FTIR · Development of analytical methods for drugs, performing in vitro drug release studies, dissolution testing·  Experience on UV/Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, extruder, spheronizer, high speed and high-pressure homogenizer, ultrasonicator. Acquainted with DSC, IR spectrometer, Dynamic light scattering technique (Malvern Zetasizer), lyophilizer and SEM. Experience in small animal handling: performing PK, PD in MNU induced breast cancer tumor model. Good computer proficiency in Windows operating systems and application software: MS Office, Thermo Kinetica, ChemDraw, Endnote and Adobe Photoshop etc.
