Dr. Pradeepta Kumar Sarangi holds the Doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Master’s Degree in Computer Application and Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Dr. Sarangi is having 23 years of teaching experience and has served as a faculty member and in administrative positions.

Dr. Sarangi has more than 40 research papers published in various national and international journals and conferences. His major subjects of interest are DBMS, Data Analytics, OCR and Machine Learning. His current research interests are machine learning applications in the healthcare and agriculture sector, particularly in precision agriculture. Currently, Dr. Sarangi is working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, India.
